Yucaipa Man Arrested after Vandalizing and Breaking into Sheriff's Central Station

PC 148(a)(1) - Resisting Arrest
LOCATION: 655 E. 3rd Street, San Bernardino, CA 92415
SUSPECT(S): Juan Barajas, 29 year-old male resident of Yucaipa
VICTIM(S): San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at approximately 3:24 am, deputies responded to a report of vandalism at the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Central Station, located at 655 E 3rd Street, in the unincorporated area of San Bernardino. When deputies arrived, they found an adult male , identified as Juan Barajas, forced entry into the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Headquarters and was possibly inside the building.
Central Station deputies began clearing the building. Sheriff’s Specialized Enforcement Division personnel responded with an apprehension K9 and assisted in the search. Barajas was located inside the building and was safely taken into custody. Barajas was arrested for PC 459, Commercial Burglary. Barajas was treated at a local hospital and booked into Central Detention Center.
