During the search of a residence in the listed area, officers seized an illegal weapon component. ARRESTED: Davian Nguyen, 19, for weapon charges.

The female victim, 49, was walking in the area when the suspect approached from behind and tried to steal her purse. The victim fought back, struggled with the suspect, and was able to retain her property. SUSPECT: Black male adult.
3. Robbery (1245) 600 Block of North Wilson Way, Park District
The male victim, 18, was working at an area business when the suspects entered armed with hammers, broke display cases, and took store property. The victim attempted to stop them and was injured. The victim declined medical attention. SUSPECTS: Four unknown race males.
