The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) and the DC Department of General Services (DGS) would like to inform the community that the field at Watkins Recreation Center will be closed starting Tuesday, September 2, 2025, for resurfacing. Access to the playground, rush rink, and spray park will not be impacted. Basketball courts remain closed. It is expected the field will re-open in October, provided there are no delays due to weather. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this time.
