#LASD Commercial Burglary Suspects Arrested
Major Crimes Bureau, Metro Detail detectives began investigating a series of nighttime commercial burglaries of closed liquor stores, tobacco shops, pharmacies, and other convenience-type stores taking place throughout Los Angeles County. As detectives investigated those burglaries, they learned the same suspects were believed to be responsible for similar additional nighttime commercial burglaries throughout Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino Counties. During the burglaries, the suspects would conceal their identity by wearing hooded sweaters and masks, and they often utilized power tools to cut their way through security doors. The suspects would then steal high-end alcohol, cigarettes, and cash. The suspects also pried open the ATM machine from several of the businesses to steal the cash from within. The suspects utilized stolen high-performance vehicles, such as Chevy Camaro’s to flee the scene. Several of the crimes resulted in dangerous vehicle pursuits by responding law enforcement agencies.
Metro Detail detectives worked tirelessly over the past year and a half, identifying over 50 victim businesses, conducting multiple surveillances, analyzing video surveillance footage and forensic evidence, and interviewing witnesses while coordinating their investigation with all the affected police agencies throughout Southern California.
The investigation culminated in the identification of several suspects. During the early morning hours of Thursday, August 28, 2025, a multi-location search warrant was conducted at four residences, three in the city of Long Beach and one in the city of Alhambra. During the search, detectives recovered suspected stolen property, several thousand dollars in US currency, evidence linking the suspects to the crimes, two loaded semi-automatic handguns, and an assault pistol containing a silencer and an extended high-capacity magazine.
The facts of this case were previously presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, and arrest warrants were obtained for each of the suspects identified as being involved in the burglaries. The following suspects were arrested:
Marco Rivera, MH/22, a resident of Long Beach, $1,025,000 bail
Nakoa Taylor, MB/20, a resident of Long Beach, $1,000,000 bail
Jaheim Ebry, MB/21, a resident of Long Beach, $1,000,000 bail
Francisco Araiza-Lopez, MH/25 (previously arrested), a resident of Alhambra, $1,075,000 bail
Additionally, Isaac Araiza-Lopez, MH/19, a resident of Alhambra, was arrested for possession of narcotics for the purposes of sales and multiple felony firearm-related charges.
Anyone who may have witnessed any of the crimes or may have any information is encouraged to contact the Major Crimes Bureau—Metro Detail, (562)946-7893. If you would like to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at (800)222-8477 or online at www.p3tips.com.
