The P.G. Fire Department is aware of the mulch fire located on US 70 West. Our crews have assessed the situation and will continue to closely monitor the fire throughout the weekend to ensure public safety.

At this time, there is no immediate threat to surrounding structures or residents. However, citizens in the area may notice smoke during this period. We ask the public to exercise caution when traveling near the site and to avoid unnecessary traffic in the immediate area to allow emergency personnel safe access.
