...The National Weather Service in Lubbock TX has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Texas... Double Mountain Fork Brazos near Lubbock 4ESE affecting Lubbock County.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.

* WHERE...Double Mountain Fork Brazos near Lubbock 4ESE.

* WHEN...From early this morning to this evening.

* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Flooding over FM-835 just west of Buffalo Springs will likely require closure of the highway. Flooding of loop road around west end of Buffalo Springs Lake also likely. The onset of flooding at FM-835 may be delayed by 4 to 6 hours after the river gauge at Southeast Loop 289 exceeds 11 feet or about 1000 CFS.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:45 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 12.6 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Forecast...No forecast is available for this location. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
