Flood Advisory until 05:45PM

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following counties, Coleman, Concho and Runnels.

* WHEN...Until 545 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 231 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Coleman, Ballinger, Paint Rock, Talpa, Valera, Glen Cove, Benoit, Hords Creek Reservoir, Us-83 Near The Concho-Runnels County Line and The Intersection Of Us-83 And Ranch Road 1929. - This includes the following Low Water Crossings... FM 1929 crossing Fuzzy Creek, FM-RD 136 crossing Hords Creek, County Road 485 crossing Indian Creek, County Road 406 crossing Home Creek, Liveoak crossing Hords Creek, County Road 135 crossing Middle Mustang Creek, crossings along County Road 128, Farm Road 1929 crossing, Colorado St. crossing Hords Creek Draw and Farm Road 1929 crossing. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
