1. Robbery (0100) Fontana Avenue and Country Club Blvd, Civic District
The male victim, 53, was driving in the listed area when he stopped to pick up items that fell out of his car. Two suspects then approached the victim, assaulted and stabbed him, and fled with his property. The victim self-transported to an area hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury. SUSPECTS: White male and an unknown race male.
2. Homicide (0831) Hazelton Avenue and Harrison Street, Seaport District
Officers responded to a report of a person shot and found the male victim, 60, with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. Detectives responded and assumed the investigation.
