On August 29, 2025, Gibson County Central Dispatch received multiple calls about disturbances at a residence in the 200 block of South Third Avenue in Haubstadt.  At approximately 11 p.m. another 911 was placed and upon arriving law enforcement found an active domestic disturbance was occurring.  At that point Deputy Wyatt Hunt spoke with both parties involved and conducted an investigation.  At the conclusion of the inquiry Deputy Hunt placed 40-year-old Kyle Seib into custody and transported him to the Gibson County Detention Center.  Upon arriving at the detention center Mr. Seib was charged with Felony Domestic Battery and Disorderly Conduct. 
 
Sgt. John Fischer of the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office as well as Owensville Town Marshal Rodger Leister and Haubstadt Town Marshal Jason Wright assisted in the investigation of this incident.
 
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
