A Message from the Haledon Office of Emergency Management

Manchester Utilities Authority (MUA) Update - Boil Water Advisory Officially LIFTED - BEWARE OF SCAMS - Available Water Resources - Water Services Fully Restored

As per the MUA, the Boil Water Advisory has been officially LIFTED, following review and approval by the State of New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. All water services in Haledon have been fully restored. Please adhere to the recommended precautions issued by the MUA following the lifting of the Boil Water Advisory.

Once again, please be reminded to beware of utility scams. Scammers may pretend to be utility workers or customer service representatives. Generally, utility companies such as the MUA or PSE&G have a prearranged appointment before visiting your home or business. They will never ask for payment or request your Social Security number or banking information. If you are ever in doubt about the identity of a utility worker visiting your home or business, please call the MUA directly at 973-942-9027 or email [email protected]. Additionally, please report any suspicious activity to the Haledon Police Department at 973-790-4444.
