1. Weapon Arrest (2251) 1700 Block of West Fremont Street, Civic District
Officers conducted a check out of an occupied vehicle in the listed area. A search of the vehicle revealed the occupant was in possession of a loaded handgun. ARRESTED: Damian Sharp Jr, 29, for weapon charges.
2. Pursuit Arrest (0149) Thornton Road and Otto Drive, Bear Creek District
Officers attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver initially stopped, then sped off, leading the officers on a short pursuit. The suspect vehicle eventually stopped, and one occupant got out, discarded a firearm, and fled on foot. Two other occupants were taken into custody without incident. ARRESTED: Jose
Gonzalez, 28, and Michael Lewis, 51, for weapon violations and evading.
