Detectives Seek Suspect in Patterson Homicide 
On Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at approximately 1:15 p.m., deputies responded to a report of a stabbing in the 200 block of El Circulo in Patterson. Upon arrival, they located Ernesto Flores, a 45-year-old Hispanic male of Patterson, who was unresponsive and bleeding while paramedics provided medical care. Ernesto was transported by air to Doctors Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Due to the nature of the crime, the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department Major Crimes Unit (MCU) responded to the scene and assumed the investigation. During the course of the investigation, detectives identified the suspect as Geronimo Flores, a 46-year-old Hispanic male of Patterson. Geronimo and Ernesto are siblings.
At this time, Geronimo Flores has not been taken into custody and his whereabouts remain unknown. Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate this incident.
