1. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (0750) 500 Block of West Sonora Street, Seaport District
The male victim, 61, and the suspect got into an argument when the suspect hit the victim with a metal object. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of his non-life-threatening injury. SUSPECT: Black female in her thirties.
2. Resisting Arrest (1126) 7600 Block of Pacific Ave, Lakeview District
Officers responded to the area on a report of a subject armed with multiple knives, walking toward a local business. Officers located the suspect in the parking lot, holding two large kitchen knives. Officers ordered the suspect to drop the knives, but he refused and charged them. An officer deployed his taser, but it was ineffective. A K-9 was deployed to take the suspect into custody. ARRESTED: DeShawn Allen, 34, for brandishing and resisting arrest.
