8/30 – Police took a report of two stolen vehicles from a residence on Diamond View Court. There was no forced entry. Video surveillance revealed there were subjects in the Parkview Manor Subdivision around 2:45 that a.m. attempting to get into vehicles. The vehicles were stolen shortly before 6:00 a.m. With the assistance of the Metro East Auto Theft Task force, the vehicles were recovered that evening, one in St. Louis City, the other in north St. Louis County. Both vehicles are in good shape. There are no suspects in custody at this time. We would like to thank the task force for assisting in this case.
