Discolored Water Alert – Dayton and Monmouth Junction sections
Due to fire hydrant flushing near one of our supply wells on Miller Road yesterday afternoon, some residents and businesses in the Dayton and Monmouth Junction sections of the Township are experiencing discolored water. South Brunswick Township Water Department staff are actively flushing hydrants in and around the impacted neighborhoods. The discolored water will clear up with the flushing of the hydrants.
Any residents experiencing discolored water are advised to open up the cold water faucets in their home and let it run for a minimum of five (5) minutes until the water clears up.
