Calaveras Responders Work Side by Side During Fires
Since the start of the Tuolumne-Calaveras September Lightning Fire Complex on Tuesday, the Calaveras County Sheriff's Office has been engaged in working closely with local and state fire personnel, allied law enforcement agencies, key stakeholders, as well as local and State Offices of Emergency Services.  The shared goals have included ensuring efficient evacuations, facilitating the safe and timely repopulation of affected areas, and maintaining the safety and security of all residents and visitors.
We recognize that the multiple fires have placed a heightened level of stress on both citizens and emergency service personnel.  Thank you for your ongoing cooperation and support.
