BELL GARDENS ― Caltrans announces overnight closures and an extended weekend closure on northbound Interstate 710 (I-710) from Firestone Boulevard to Florence Avenue in the city of Bell Gardens in Los Angeles County for bridge repair work on Clara Street Overcrossing. There will be overnight full closures Thursday night, Sept. 4 through Friday night, Sept. 5. An extended weekend closure will take place from Saturday, Sept. 6, at 9 p.m. through Monday, Sept. 8, at 5 a.m. that includes an 8-hour full closure of northbound I-710. 

The closures are subject to change and scheduled as follows:

Thursday, September 4 through Saturday, September 6:

• Up to two lanes will be closed on northbound I-710 from Firestone Boulevard to Florence Avenue starting as early as 10 p.m.
• All northbound lanes on I-710 from Firestone Boulevard to Florence Avenue will be closed overnight from 11:30 p.m. to 4 a.m.
• Firestone Boulevard on-ramps to northbound I-710 will be closed starting as early as 7 p.m. until 5 a.m.

Saturday, September 6 through Monday, September 8:

• Up to two lanes will be closed on northbound I-710 from Firestone Boulevard to Florence Avenue from 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6 to 10 a.m., Sunday Sept. 7
• Firestone Boulevard on-ramps to northbound I-710 will be closed starting as early as 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6 until 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 8
• Full closure of northbound I-710 between Firestone Boulevard to Florence Avenue from 12 a.m. to 8 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 7
• Up to two lanes will be closed on northbound I-710 from Firestone Boulevard to Florence Avenue from 10 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7 until 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 8
• All lanes will reopen to the public at 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 8
