Gloucester Township Police Media Release- Dwelling Fire in the Glendora Neighborhood Displaces Residents 9-4-2025
On Thursday, September 4, 2025 at approximately 1843 hours, the Gloucester Township Police Department responded to the 900 block of San Jose Drive, located in the Glendora neighborhood of Gloucester Township for a dwelling fire. Officers arrived on location to find smoke and fire coming from the attached garage and confirmed that all of the residents were safely evacuated.
Firefighters from Glendora, Blackwood, Magnolia, Runnemede, Somerdale and Bellmawr Fire Departments responded to battle the blaze. The fire companies successfully brought the fire under control before the fire could spread to the residence. Assistance was also provided by Inspira Basic Life Support.
There were no injuries as a result of this incident and the residents were displaced due to smoke damage to the interior of the residence. The fire is being investigated by the Gloucester Township Police Department and the Camden County Fire Marshals Office.
