1. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (0724) 7200 Block of Tristan Circle, Valley Oak District
Officers responded to the listed area regarding a domestic disturbance. Upon officers’ arrival, they attempted to detain the suspect, who was inside his vehicle. As officers opened the suspect’s vehicle door, he fled in his vehicle at a high rate of speed, nearly striking an officer with the vehicle. Officers were not injured. SUSPECT: Indian male adult.
2. Pursuit Arrest (1131) Fremont Street and Aurora Street, Civic District
Officers attempted an enforcement stop of a vehicle for traffic violations. The driver fled, leading officers on a brief pursuit, before officers terminated it for safety reasons. Officers later located the vehicle and arrested the driver. ARRESTED: Juan Medina-Hernandez, 18, for evasion and traffic charges.
