SECOND UPDATE **DRY CHEMICAL SPILL** AVOID Neroly Road between Live Oak Avenue and Empire Avenue UNTIL 2:00PM.
The Oakley Police Department advises you to AVOID Neroly Road between Live Oak Avenue and Empire Avenue for the next 2-3 hours due to a dry chemical spill.
A barrell of a sulfate based dry chemical fell off of a truck causing a spill. There is no threat to the community because of this incident. Due to the nature of the material Hazardous Material teams are on their way to clean the spill. Neroly Road, between Live Oak Avenue and Empire Avenue, will need to remain closed while this work is underway.
