On September 4, 2025, at 10:55 p.m. Deputy Wyatt Hunt conducted a traffic stop on a White 2016 Nissan Rogue for a moving violation that he observed while traveling on State Road 168 near County Road 175 East.  Upon approaching the vehicle Deputy Hunt detected the odor of alcohol coming from inside the vehicle.  At that point he began a roadside DUI investigation.  Once the inquiry was concluded Deputy Hunt placed the driver 33-year-old Christina Tanner of Owensville into custody and transported her to the Gibson County Detention Center.  Upon arriving at the detention center Ms. Tanner was charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated and Neglect of a Dependent.
