Charlotte Man Charged with Drug Possession
Deputy Gabe Eudy with the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged 47-year-old Antolin Ignacio of Charlotte with felony Possession of Cocaine. He was issued a secured bond of $10,000.
On August 29, Deputy Eudy initiated a stop on a Ford truck for a traffic violation. Ignacio was the driver of the truck.
Deputies found that he was operating the vehicle without a license and also had an outstanding warrant from Mecklenburg County.
A subsequent search of the vehicle and Ignacio turned up a suspected amount of cocaine. He was placed into custody and transported to the McDowell County Detention Center.
