Ember Stomp is today. Be prepared! Join Fairfax for a self-paced evacuation drill at 11am. 
The Fairfax Police Department, in coordination with the Ross Valley Fire Department, invites you to participate in a county wide evacuation drill today from 11am to 12:30pm. To commence the drill, the Fairfax Police Department will sound its flood siren at 11am. This will be a test only. After you complete your evacuation scenario, check-in at the entrance booth to Ember Stomp at the Marin County Fairgrounds to confirm your successful evacuation and then educate yourself and your family on wildfire preparedness at the Ember Stomp Festival.
