1. Armed Robbery (1840) 2300 Block of Scribner Street, Park District
The male victim, 18, and the female victim, 53, were visiting a residence in the area when the suspects brandished a firearm. The suspects stole the victim’s property and fled in a vehicle. SUSPECTS: Two Asian male adults, a Hispanic male adult, and a Black male juvenile.
2. Vehicle Collision (1851) Harding Way and Lincoln Street, Civic District
The adult male driver, 39, was driving his vehicle in the area when the adult male pedestrian, 63, walked into the roadway and was struck. The pedestrian was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. Traffic investigators responded to the scene to continue the investigation.
3. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (2100) 1000 Block of North Filbert Street, Park District
Officers responded to a local hospital and contacted two juvenile victims who were being treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The victims said they had been walking in the listed area when a resident accused them of breaking into a vehicle. The victims fled the area on foot, and two suspects chased after them. One suspect pulled out a gun and struck both victims with it. The suspects brought the victims back to the area and then had them contact their parents before fleeing the area. SUSPECTS: Two Hispanic male adults.
4. Persons Shot (2300) Fremont Street and Yosemite Street, Civic District
The victims, a female, 19, and a male, 18, arrived in the area for a party. As they were walking towards the party, a vehicle drove by and fired multiple shots in their direction, striking both victims. Both victims were transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. There is no suspect information.
