Deputies Conduct Successful DUI Saturation Patrol on Prairie Avenue 
On September 6th, 2025, local media reported a stabbing on the 14700 block of Prairie Avenue in the city of Lawndale.
However, South Los Angeles station deputies observed a traffic collision. The driver of the involved vehicle was located with injuries.
After a thorough investigation, deputies determined the injuries were the result of the collision and not a stabbing. The driver was transported to a local hospital for treatment and was later arrested on suspicion of Driving Under the Influence.
