Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Collision at Madison Street and Novak Drive 
On Saturday, September 6, 2025, at approximately 1:04 p.m., personnel from the Petaluma Police Department and Petaluma Fire Department responded to a vehicle collision involving a motorcyclist in the area of East Madison Street and Novak Drive. Multiple community members reported that a motorcycle and a Kia SUV had been involved in a serious collision.
Petaluma Police Officers and Petaluma Fire Department Paramedics arrived within minutes. The motorcyclist was found to have sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The driver of the Kia SUV remained on scene and cooperated with the investigation. The cause of the collision remains under investigation, and at this time there is no indication that alcohol was a factor.
