This is an emergency notification from the Lubbock Police Department regarding a(n) Major Accident. The incident details at this time are: The Lubbock Police Department’s Major Crash Investigation Unit is investigating at the intersection of 19th Street and Wausau Avenue. Officers responded to a report of a collision with injuries involving a motorcycle and a passenger car at 6:37 p.m. on September 6th. One person was pronounced deceased at the scene. A second person was transported via EMS to UMC with minor injuries. Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
