On Saturday, September 6, 2025, at approximately 11:09 a.m., the Petaluma Police Department Dispatch Center received a report of a theft from Dick’s Sporting Goods. The reporting party stated that a male suspect entered the store and stole a pair of shoes valued at over $150. A description of the suspect was provided to responding officers.
An officer located a subject matching the description, but as the officer attempted to make contact, the subject fled on foot. A search of the area, which included the use of a drone, was unsuccessful.
