Structure Fire – Burleigh Storage Facility

On September 8, 2025, at approximately 10:08 AM, the Middle Township Police Department was dispatched to Burleigh Storage, located in the Burleigh section of Middle Township, for a reported structure fire.
Upon arrival, officers observed heavy smoke emanating from multiple units within the “F” building of the facility. Fire department personnel arrived on scene shortly thereafter and began fire suppression efforts.
An active investigation into the cause and origin of the fire is being conducted by the Middle Township Police Department Major Crimes Unit in coordination with the Cape May County Fire Marshal’s Office.
