A Hoke County Utilities Department contractor will be performing an essential repair on the public water main in the Hoke Rockfish Water System.  Due to this repair, water services will be disconnected for all customers in this area.  Water will be off for approximately 8 hours beginning at 8:00 a.m.  To prepare for the water disruption, residents are advised to do the following:    Fill jugs of drinking water and buckets for extra water prior to the shut-off. It is advised to fill your bathtub or large buckets with water prior to shut-down to flush toilets during the shutdown.
