Update: Emergency Water Main Repair Goffle Hill Road Closures and Detours
This is an update to yesterday’s advisory regarding the emergency water main repair on Goffle Hill Road.
Beginning Tuesday, September 9, 2025, Goffle Hill Road will be closed daily starting at 7:00 AM and will reopen at approximately 7:00 PM.
Closures will continue between Grandview Avenue (Hawthorne) and Cedar Hill Avenue (Wyckoff) in both directions. The project is expected to last approximately two weeks.
Detour signage and police traffic control officers remain in place to guide motorists. Delays should be expected on surrounding roads, including Grandview Avenue, Cedar Hill Avenue, and Route 208.
Please allow extra travel time, use caution in the work zone, and follow all posted detours and police direction. Local access will be maintained where possible.
