Wilmington Police arrest man on drug charges: 
Wilmington Police have arrested a man on drug charges.
On September 4, at approximately 10:52 a.m., members of the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division were in the 1700 block of West 3rd Street, when they observed a male subject engaged in drug-related activity. Police made contact with 23-year-old Jakere Jones, who was taken into custody without incident. Jones was found to be in possession of 6.76 grams of crack cocaine, and .12 grams of heroin.
Jones has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver – Two Counts
- Possession of a Controlled Substance in Tier 1 Quantity
