Deputies Contact Over 60 Drivers During Twentynine Palms DUI Enforcement Operation on September 5th

INCIDENT: DUI Enforcement Results
SUMMARY: On Friday, September 5, 2025, deputies from the Morongo Basin Sheriff's Station conducted a DUI enforcement operation aimed at promoting traffic safety and removing impaired drivers from the road.
During the operation, deputies contacted over 60 drivers for various traffic violations. As a result of these efforts, 55 citations were issued, and one individual was arrested for driving under the influence.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department remains committed to ensuring the safety of all motorists. Enforcement operations like these are a vital part of our ongoing efforts to reduce impaired driving and keep our roadways safe.
Drivers are reminded to always drive sober and to plan ahead with a designated driver or ride service if they plan to consume alcohol or other substances that may impair their ability to drive.
