Traffic Alert: Volunteer roadside cleanup on Highway 278, Sept. 13 
The Moss Creek Community Adopt-A-Highway volunteers will be out on Saturday, September 13, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., picking up roadside litter along the eastbound side of Highway 278, from McDonald’s to the J. Wilton Graves Bridge.
Motorists are urged to use caution when traveling through this area. Volunteers will be working near the roadway, where there is no sidewalk access. They will be wearing bright orange safety vests and taking every precaution to remain safe; however, driver attentiveness is critical.
Please slow down, stay alert, and give volunteers plenty of space as you travel through this stretch of Highway 278.
