The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) and the DC Department of General Services (DGS) would like to inform the community that the playground at Mitchell Park Recreation Center (1801 23rd Street, NW) will be closed for surfacing upgrades beginning Tuesday, September 16, 2025, and will continue to be offline through early October, weather permitting.
