Burn Ban for Entire Carlinville Fire Protection District Response Area 
A burn ban is now in effect for the residents in the Carlinville Fire Protection District response area!
Due to a shortage of rainfall in the past weeks, hot temperatures returning, little to no rainfall forecasted in the near future and vegetation quickly drying out, we have put the burn ban in place!
We have reached out to our farmers for tillage equipment to be hooked up again this year as in the past for assistance if needed.
CFPD will evaluate every week until the ban is lifted.
