INCIDENT: Suspect Arrested for Kidnapping After Domestic Violence Incident
LOCATION: 16000 block of Atoka Road, Apple Valley
SUSPECT(S): Keveandre Maye, 18-year-old male resident of Victorville
VICTIM: Female Adult - 18-years-old
SUMMARY:
On Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at approximately 2:23 p.m., deputies from the Apple Valley Station were dispatched to an unknown problem near the intersection of Atoka Road and Roanoke Road. It was determined Keveandre Maye and the victim, an 18-year-old female, were in an argument while Maye was driving a vehicle. Maye assaulted the victim and took her cell phone, preventing her from contacting emergency services. Maye also refused to allow the victim to exit the vehicle. The victim was eventually able to call 911.
Maye was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center for kidnapping and is being held in lieu of $80,000 bail.
