At 658 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a gust front generated from thunderstorms over the Owyhees. The gust front was located along a line extending from 6 miles northwest of Mountain Home Air Force Base to Kuna to near Parma. Movement was northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Areas of blowing dust reducing visibility. This gust front will be near... Nampa, Caldwell, Parma, and Meridian around 700 PM MDT. Boise, Eagle, Star, and Blacks Creek Reservoir around 710 PM MDT. Mountain Home, Garden City, Lucky Peak Dam, and Firebird Speedway around 720 PM MDT. Emmett, Hidden Springs, Tollgate, and Lucky Peak Spring Shores Marina around 730 PM MDT. Danskin Peak, Arrowrock Dam, and Arrowrock Reservoir around 740 PM MDT.
