INCIDENT: PC 664/187(A): Attempted Murder
LOCATION: Bear Valley Road/State Hwy 18, Apple Valley
SUSPECT(S): Damien Booth, 33 years of age, resident of Apple Valley
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at 7:04 p.m., deputies from the Victor Valley station responded to a report of a shooting in the area of Bear Valley Road and State Hwy 18 in Apple Valley.
During the investigation, deputies learned two unknown males and an unknown female were on the victim's property. When the victim confronted the individuals, one of the males pulled out a handgun. The unknown individuals then fled in a maroon pickup. The victim followed them in her vehicle when one of the males fired the handgun at the victim striking the vehicle multiple times.
Deputies were able to locate the suspect vehicle and one of the suspects, later identified as Damien Booth. Booth was arrested and a search warrant was served at the location, where deputies located fired cartridge casings. The two remaining suspects and the handgun have not been located.
Damien Booth was transported to the High Desert Detention Center where he was booked on the above charges. The investigation to identify and locate the remaining suspects is ongoing.
