Lazaro Charged with Meth Possession
Detective Adam Burnette with the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office Community Impact Team charged 50-year-old Lawrence James Lazaro of Nebo with felony Possession of Methamphetamine and misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was issued a secured bond of $2,500.
On Wednesday, Sept. 3, Det. Burnette assisted Lt. Jesse Hicks in a traffic stop on NC 126.
Lazaro, the driver, was found to be in possession of a suspected amount of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia following a subsequent search of the vehicle.
