Keith Charged For Stealing Car
Deputy William Guzman with the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged 58-year-old Robert Dale Keith of Marion with felony Larceny of a Motor Vehicle. He was denied bond due to already being out on pretrial release.
On Sunday, September 7, Deputy Guzman responded to the Curtis Creek area in reference to a stolen vehicle.
The victim stated Keith stole her Chevrolet Trailblazer while camping.
Prior to the victim reporting the incident, Keith was pulled over in the stolen vehicle by N.C. Highway Patrol for a traffic violation and placed into custody for outstanding warrants.
