1. Assault with a Deadly Weapon Arrest (1050) Lincoln Street and Clay Street, Seaport District
The male victim, 44, was driving in the area with the known suspect when the suspect pointed a firearm at the victim and threatened to shoot him. The victim flagged down officers, who arrested the suspect without incident and recovered the firearm. ARRESTED: Rechae Woodjames, 25, for assault with a deadly weapon and weapon charges.
2. Robbery Arrest (1415) 4900 Block of Claremont Avenue, Lakeview District
The male victims, 34 and 26, were working at an area business when they confronted the suspect for shoplifting merchandise. The suspect brandished a replica firearm at them and fled. Officers located the suspect, who fled from them on foot. Officers apprehended the suspect after a brief struggle. The merchandise and the replica firearm were recovered. ARRESTED: Joshua Trader-Smith, 28, for robbery, brandishing, possession of stolen property, and resisting arrest.
