SUMMARY: On Wednesday, September 10, 2025, deputies from the Fontana Sheriff's Station were patrolling the area of Euclid Avenue in the county area of Upland. Deputies observed two off-highway dirt bike motorcycles traveling north on Euclid Avenue without license plates.
Deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the two dirt bikes. The two subjects, later identified as Joshua Molina and Gavin Injijian, fled from deputies and led deputies on a pursuit from Euclid Avenue to San Antonio Avenue.
Molina and Injijian traveled at high rates of speed through residential neighborhoods, ran stop signs, drove on sidewalks, and drove on the wrong side of the road in a reckless attempt to flee from law enforcement. Deputies lost sight of the suspects at San Antonio Avenue.
After further investigation, deputies located Molina at a residence in the 800 block of 23rd Street, in Upland. The second suspect was also located at a residence in the 200 block of E 20th Street, in Upland.
Molina and Injijian were arrested for CVC 2800.2 - Felony Evading and booked into West Valley Detention Center.
Patrol deputies from several stations have been noticing an uptick in unregistered dirt bikes on public roads. As a reminder, unregistered vehicles, motorcycles, and dirt bikes are not allowed to be driven on public streets and are subject to enforcement of the laws listed in the California Vehicle Code. Fines, vehicle impounds, and even jail time may result from the actions by those who choose to ignore the law and negligently operate unlawful motor vehicles. Residents and motorists who observe this kind of reckless activity are encouraged to contact your local law enforcement agency.
