Skimmer Rd/Jekyll Boat Ramp Road Access Reopened 
Please be advised that Skimmer Rd, the access road to the Jekyll Island/DNR Boat Ramp located on Jekyll Creek, has now reopened.
Boaters can return to using the Jekyll Island Boat Ramp access. The bike path access is also open.
The Jekyll Island Authority would like to thank GDOT and its many district office employees who worked swiftly to repair the road.
