TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Street Closures Announced Due to Street Multi-Street Mining and Paving Project - September 15th and 16th 
Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., announces that the following streets will be closed during the hours below due to a multi-street mining and paving project.
7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. – Monday, September 15, 2025, AND Tuesday, September 16, 2025
• Wheeler Point and Elm Road
• Garrison St. and New York Ave.
• Garrison St. and Elm Road
• Elm Road and Houston St.
.• Gotthart St. and New York Ave.
• Gotthart St. and Elm Road
• Backus St. and Jabez St.
• Jabez St. and New York Ave.
• Wheeler Point and Malvern St.
• Wheeler Point and Delancy St.
• Denbigh St. and Malvern St.
• Hanover St. and Malvern St.
• Chestnut St. and Hanover St.
• Chestnut St. and Hennessey St.
Drivers are advised to anticipate delays and plan alternate routes.
