Death Investigation
On 09/13/2025 at approximately 7:31am, Janesville Police and Fire were dispatched to a subject down on the Ice Age Trail. The approximate location was the bike trail tunnel which travels under Hwy 14 near N. Wuthering Hills Dr. On arrival officers located a deceased individual on the paved portion of bike trail.
The investigation concluded the death occurred under non-criminal circumstances. A small section of the trail was closed for approximately 2 ½ hours and has reopened. Further details regarding this investigation will not be released at this time.
