The male victim, 47, was working inside an area business when the known suspect entered. The victim asked the suspect to leave, but he refused and threw objects at the victim, striking him. The suspect fled in a vehicle. The victim sustained a non-life-threatening injury and declined medical attention. SUSPECT: Hispanic male adult.
2. Weapon Arrest (1839) Jamestown Road and El Dorado Street, Lakeview District
Officers conducted an enforcement stop of a vehicle for a traffic violation. A search of the vehicle revealed the occupants were in possession of a handgun. ARRESTED: #1 Jeremy Chamrouen-Leon, 19, and #2 Tatiyana Chavez, 19, for weapon charges.
3. Traffic Fatality (1941) Martin Luther King Boulevard and Hunter Street, Seaport District
Officers responded to a report of a traffic collision in the listed area. The male victim, 60, was transported to an area hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. The suspect abandoned his vehicle and fled from the scene. Traffic officers responded for the investigation. SUSPECT: Hispanic male adult.
4. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (2140) 2800 Block of Lafayette Street, Park District
The juvenile victim and juvenile suspect were involved in an altercation. During the fight, the suspect stabbed the victim with a sharp object. The victim was treated at a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. ARRESTED: A 13-year-old male juvenile for assault with a deadly weapon.
