1. Armed Robbery (1328) 1900 Block of South El Dorado Street, Park District
The male victim, 34, was in the listed area when the suspect approached armed with a firearm. The suspect demanded the victim's belongings, and the victim complied. SUSPECT: Hispanic male adult.
2. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (2100) 200 Block of West Seventh Street, Seaport District
The male victim, 36, arrived home when the known suspect wanted to fight him and then threatened to kill him. The suspect swung a sharp object at the victim. The victim grabbed the object, which caused a minor injury. The suspect then strangled the victim until he became unconscious. The victim was treated at a local hospital for a non-life-threatening injury. SUSPECT: A 16-year-old male juvenile.
3. Robbery (2150) Center Street and Fremont Street, Civic District
The male victim, 25, was walking in the listed area when the suspects approached him and told him to drop his bag. The victim feared for his safety, complied, and the suspects fled with the victim’s property. SUSPECTS: Two Black male adults and one Hispanic male adult.
4. Weapon Arrest (2154) Morada Lane and North El Dorado Street, Bear Creek District
Officers responded to the listed area on a report of several gunshots being heard. Officers located a subject walking from the location where the gunshots were heard, detained him, and found him to be in possession of a loaded firearm. ARRESTED: Angel Villasenor, 19, for weapon charges.
5. Person Shot (0227) 00 Block of West Magnolia Street, Civic District
The male victim, 42, was hanging out in the listed area with the known suspect when the suspect shot him. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of a life-threatening injury. SUSPECT: Black male adult.
