1. Weapon Arrest (1945) 1600 Block of South Airport Way, Seaport District
Officers responded to the listed area on a report of a fight in progress. Upon officers’ arrival, they observed a subject reaching for his waistband and entering a vehicle. Officers detained the subject and located a stolen firearm inside the vehicle. ARRESTED: Wilmer Jimenez, 24, for weapon charges.
2. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (2125) 3700 Block of Metro Drive, Park District
The male victim, 47, attempted to break up a sideshow event in the listed area when the suspects assaulted him, causing him to drop his property. Another suspect picked up his property and fled. As the suspects fled the area, they fired several gunshots at the victim. The victim was not injured and later recovered his property. SUSPECTS: A White male adult and a Hispanic male adult.
