1. Assault with a Deadly Weapon Arrest (1900) 100 Block of East Jamestown Street, Valley Oak District
The male victim, 38, was working at a business in the listed area when he got into an argument with the suspect. During the argument, the suspect threw an object at the victim, striking him. As the suspect left the business, he damaged a vehicle in the parking lot and fled on foot. The victim declined medical attention. Officers located the suspect and took him into custody without incident. ARRESTED: Cortez Sullivan, 57, for assault with a deadly weapon and vandalism.
2. Carjacking Arrest (1928) American Street and Fourth Street, Seaport District
The male victim, 34, was in the listed area when the known suspect jumped into his vehicle and fled. The victim caught up and tried to get his car back, but the suspect drove off, dragging the victim a short distance. Officers located the suspect and took her into custody after a short foot pursuit. ARRESTED: Maria Perez, 29, for carjacking and outstanding warrants.
3. Person Stabbed (0013) 1300 Block of East Sonora Street, Park District
The male victim, 72, saw the suspect hit his dog and intervened. As he tried to kick the suspect so that he would leave the dog alone, the suspect stabbed him. The victim suffered a minor injury and declined medical attention. The suspect fled on foot. SUSPECT: White male adult.
